The CEO of Australian oil and gas giant Woodside Energy, O'Neill, predicts that global LNG demand will increase by 50% in the next 10 years. O'Neill downplayed recent comments from his competitor, the CEO of French TotalEnergies, Pan Yanlei, regarding the rapid expansion of US LNG production capacity potentially leading to market oversupply, and stated that he is "cautiously optimistic" about it.
