Today, the National Energy Administration released the data on the total electricity consumption in August, reaching 10,154 billion kilowatt-hours, an increase of 5.0% compared to the same period last year. This is the first time in the world that the total electricity consumption has exceeded one trillion kilowatt-hours for two consecutive months in July and August.
