Deutsche Bank analyst Wang Bin's research report stated that due to competitive pricing and strong backlog orders, the sales of NIO's ES8 SUV could be very strong. The Chinese automaker officially launched the ES8 model last weekend. Deutsche Bank expects the monthly sales of ES8 to be around 15,000 units in the short term, but sales are expected to normalize to around 6,000 units per month under competition. Wang Bin now predicts that NIO's sales in 2025 will reach 350,000 units. Due to higher than expected sales of ES8, the analyst has narrowed down the net loss forecast for NIO in 2025 from RMB 17.84 billion to RMB 16.13 billion. Deutsche Bank maintains a buy rating on NIO and has raised its H-share target price from HKD 75.00 to HKD 82.00.
