Today is the eighth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival. The Harvest Festival is not only a celebration of the harvest, but also a celebration of increased income. The harvest from fields, rivers, and lakes ultimately becomes the income of farmers, creating a better life. In our country, after winning the battle against poverty, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has set up a 5-year transitional period from 2021 to 2025. During these 5 years, our country will continue to increase policy support and assistance, further improve the living standards of the impoverished population, strengthen the economic vitality and momentum of impoverished areas, and consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation.
