On Monday, New York spot gold rose 1.67% to $3747.00 per ounce at the close, with continuous volatile gains in the Asia-Pacific midday session. The US stock market closed at a historic high of $3748.84, while COMEX gold futures rose 2.07% to $3782.40 per ounce. The Philadelphia Gold and Silver Index closed up 2.60% at 291.07 points, continuing to reach all-time highs. The NYSE ARCA Gold Miners Index rose 3.19% to 2074.57 points, maintaining around 2030 points before the US stock market opened, which then jumped higher and followed a V-shaped trend. Spot silver rose 2.29% to $44.0722 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures rose 2.16% to $44.315 per ounce. COMEX copper futures rose 0.49% to $4.65 per pound, showing a V-shaped reversal since 20:00. Spot platinum rose 0.88% to $1420.75 per ounce, while spot palladium rose 2.78% to $1187.02 per ounce.
