On February 22nd, Liu Guozhong, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, met with Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Fadilah in Beijing. Liu Guozhong stated that President Xi Jinping's successful state visit to Malaysia in April this year established a new high-level strategic partnership between China and Malaysia. The Chinese side is willing to work together with Malaysia to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, continuously deepen policy dialogue, technical exchanges, and practical cooperation in areas such as water conservancy, and promote the well-being of the two countries' peoples.
