The Indian Supreme Court has asked the government and the Civil Aviation Authority to respond to the litigation related to the Indian air crash.
On September 22nd, local time, the Supreme Court of India has requested a response from the Indian government and the Indian Civil Aviation Authority regarding a lawsuit related to the plane crash incident involving an Indian airline. The lawsuit seeks an independent investigation into the crash. On June 12th of this year, an Air India Boeing 787-8 aircraft flying from India to the UK crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad airport in the Indian state of Gujarat, resulting in the deaths of over 200 people including ground personnel. The Indian Aviation Accident Investigation Bureau released a preliminary investigation report on July 12th, which indicated that the fuel switch of the aircraft involved accidentally switched from "operational" to "off" position before the crash, leading to an interruption in engine fuel supply.
