South Korea imposes temporary anti-dumping duties on single-mode optical fibers from China
On September 19, the Korean Planning and Finance Ministry issued Public Notice No. 2025-38, deciding to impose a temporary anti-dumping duty on single-mode optical fibers originating from China for a period of four months from the date until January 18, 2026. The specific tax rates are as follows: Jiangsu Hengtong Optoelectronics Co., Ltd., FiberHome Technologies Group, Hangzhou Jinstar Optical Fiber Technology Co., Ltd., and their affiliated companies, as well as other producers/exporters from China, have a tax rate of 43.35%. This case involves products under Korean Tariff No. 9001.10.0000, but does not include low-loss optical fiber bundles, optical cables, and single-mode optical fibers mainly used for optical equipment with G.652.D specifications.
