According to the Wise Finance APP, on Monday, Indian information technology stocks fell, the reason being that US President Trump imposed a $10,000 fee on new H-1B visa applications, which could bring operational difficulties to outsourcing giants. On Friday, Trump stated that companies applying for H-1B worker visas would have to pay higher fees. Last year, 71% of approved H-1B visa recipients were Indians.
