The reporter learned from the Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Hub Management Bureau that starting from 23:00 on September 20, all orifices of the Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Hub were fully open for discharge. As of 11:00 on September 21, the maximum outflow reached 4470 cubic meters per second, and the maximum outflow sediment concentration reached 8.33 grams per cubic meter. Due to recent heavy rainfall, the Hua County section of the Wei River, a tributary of the Yellow River, has experienced flooding exceeding the warning level. According to the hydrological information released by the Hydrological Bureau of the Yellow River Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, the flow rate at the Tongguan station of the Yellow River reached 2060 cubic meters per second at 8:00 on September 21. In accordance with the flood control plan, the Sanmenxia Water Conservancy Hub initiated a level IV flood control emergency response on September 20, strictly implementing a 24-hour shift system, strengthening the inspection of flood control facilities and equipment, and ensuring the safety of the hub during the flood season.
