NIO President Qin Lihong responds to chaotic management in the automotive industry: fully supports, excessive and unhealthy competition is harmful to industry development.

At NIO Day 2025, NIO founder, chairman, and CEO Li Bin, NIO co-founder and president Qin Lihong had a dialogue with the media. Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and five other departments jointly issued a notice on carrying out a special rectification campaign on the chaos in the automotive industry. The campaign will last for three months nationwide and focus on rectifying network chaos such as illegal profiteering, exaggerated and false advertising, and malicious defamation attacks. Qin Lihong stated that the achievements of China's new energy vehicle industry have not come easily, and excessive and unhealthy competition is harmful to the industry's development. He fully supports the regulatory authorities in governance. First, conduct self-inspection and self-reflection; although everyone is reluctant to see it, everyone more or less plays a role in exacerbating the situation.
