Chile holds national day celebration activities and a military parade.

On the 18th and 19th of the local time, Chile held its 215th anniversary of national day celebration and military parade, commemorating the overthrow of colonial rule and achievement of independence. In remembrance of the first government council held in 1810 symbolizing the overthrow of Spanish colonial rule, Chile has designated September 18th as the National Day and September 19th as the "Day of Army Glory," with a military parade held in the capital.
