2025 National talks on new developments: Expert review concluded, upcoming business communication meeting.
On the morning of September 20th, the National Healthcare Security Administration announced that the expert evaluation work on the adjustment of the 2025 National Basic Healthcare Catalog and Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug Catalog has been completed. The Healthcare Security Administration will soon organize an on-site communication meeting in Beijing with companies involved in negotiation, bidding, and price negotiation, for face-to-face exchanges. This year's adjustment of the healthcare catalog is the 8th since the establishment of the National Healthcare Security Administration, and it is also the first time adding a Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug Catalog in addition to the Basic Healthcare Catalog. Although the negotiation process started later this year compared to previous years, the pace is more compact. According to last year's announcement, the expert evaluation results were released on September 14th, and companies were required to submit materials by September 28th. This year, the expert evaluation results were released on September 20th, and companies have until September 30th to submit materials. Therefore, the negotiation schedule this year is basically consistent with last year. Following last year's schedule, the national healthcare catalog negotiation began on October 27th and lasted for four days. It was previously learned from relevant policy makers that the healthcare negotiation for 2025 aims to be synchronized with last year, but due to the additional work on assessing the Commercial Insurance Innovative Drug Catalog, specific negotiation times may be slightly later than last year.
