After the announcement of the sale of its business in China, GE Healthcare China has further announced personnel adjustments, involving its two major product lines of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Some positions in the CT business line have been cut, while the staff reduction in the MRI business line is reported to be less than the rumored 10% in the market. In response to this, GE Healthcare stated to reporters that, based on the ever-changing market environment, this organizational and personnel optimization aims to serve customers in a more focused and efficient manner to drive long-term business growth. Relative to the total number of employees of GE Healthcare in China, the number of personnel involved in this adjustment is small. Our commitment to the Chinese market will not change. "The company is still recruiting in the market, continuously investing in key areas closely related to business strategies and organizational capacity building, in order to make proactive arrangements for the company's next stage of development," said GE Healthcare.
