Consider human resources adjustments in the Chinese market? GE Healthcare responds to market rumors.
After selling its business in China, GE Healthcare China region announced personnel adjustments, involving the two major product lines of computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Some positions in the CT business line were cut, while the proportion of layoffs in the MRI business line was lower than the market rumors of 10%. In response to this, GE Healthcare said to reporters that, based on the constantly changing market environment, this organizational and personnel optimization aims to serve customers in a more focused and efficient manner, and to drive long-term business growth. The personnel involved in this adjustment are relatively small compared to the total number of employees of GE Healthcare in China. "Our commitment to the Chinese market will not change." "The company is still recruiting in the market, continuously investing in key areas closely related to business strategies and organizational capabilities, and making forward-looking arrangements for the company's next stage of development," said GE Healthcare.
