The legislation in Buenos Aires province of Argentina prohibits elementary students from using cellphones in the classroom.
The Provincial Council of Buenos Aires, Argentina approved a bill on the 18th prohibiting primary school students from using cell phones in the classroom. The bill stipulates that unless for educational purposes, primary school students are not allowed to use cell phones and other electronic devices with screens in the classroom. The bill also requires signs to be posted on campus explaining the risks of excessive cell phone and electronic screen usage, and providing advice on healthy usage.
