The Information, a technology media outlet, reported yesterday that Apple has requested Luxshare Precision, one of its major contract manufacturers, to increase the daily production of the standard version of iPhone 17 by approximately 40% following better-than-expected pre-sales performance. Apple also notified some non-electronic component suppliers to increase their daily supply volume by around 30%.
