Federal Reserve Chairman candidate Brad: Does not support a 50 basis point rate cut this week.
According to the Securities Times app, James Bullard, former president of the St. Louis Federal Reserve and a candidate for the next chairman of the Federal Reserve, said he would not support a 50 basis point rate cut this week. Bullard said in an interview on Friday, "I think the Fed's decision is correct." When asked if he would vote to support a 50 basis point rate cut, he replied, "No, I don't think so." He also stated, "It looks like the Fed will cut rates three times by the end of the year."
