At the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council on the 18th, based on the resolution proposed by China on "promoting and protecting economic, social and cultural rights in the context of inequalities", an interactive dialogue was held on the report submitted by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Li Xiaomei, Deputy Head of the Chinese delegation to the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, stated in her speech that ensuring equal enjoyment of economic, social and cultural rights for all is an important goal in achieving all human rights. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the United Nations, it is necessary to uphold true multilateralism, enhance dialogue and cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual respect; uphold the concept of putting people first, increase investment in economic, social and cultural rights; strengthen unity and collaboration, and drive developed countries to provide greater support to developing countries to ensure that no one is left behind.
