The China Association for Science and Technology has announced the revocation of awards for 5 individuals.

Today, the China Association for Science and Technology announced on its official website the "Announcement on Revoking the Awards of Zhou Xinyuan and 5 Others." The announcement mentioned that due to disciplinary and illegal behavior by the 8th China Youth Science and Technology Award winner Zhou Xinyuan and the 10th winner Chen Zheyu, as well as scientific research dishonesty by the 11th winner of the China Youth Science and Technology Award Sun Beicheng, the 17th winner Zhao Yuanjin, and the 11th winner of the China Young Female Scientist Award Liu Jianni. In order to maintain the honor, authority, and seriousness of the awards, and to demonstrate a firm stance of "zero tolerance" towards disciplinary and scientific research dishonesty, the organizing unit of the awards has decided to revoke the China Youth Science and Technology Awards of Zhou Xinyuan, Chen Zheyu, Sun Beicheng, and Zhao Yuanjin, revoke the China Young Female Scientist Award of Liu Jianni, and retrieve the awards, certificates, and prize money awarded to the above 5 individuals.
