According to a recent survey by TrendForce, Meta's first mass-produced AR device, the Meta Ray-Ban Display Glasses, uses LCoS display technology. It is expected to drive the market share of LCoS display products to rise to 13% by 2026. Single-chip full-color LED displays are not expected to see significant technological and cost breakthroughs until 2028. Before then, competition between the two will intensify.
