Hong Kong stocks closed up 0.12% at midday, with the Hang Seng Index rising 0.62%. The Hong Kong technology index rose 1.24%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong stock ETF (159318) rose 0.77%. In terms of sectors, the leisure equipment and water sectors were among the top gainers, while the diversified REIT and home goods sectors saw the biggest losses. In terms of individual stocks, Jingfang Medicine-B surged by over 116%; Nio-SW rose by 5.7%, Shandong Gold rose by 5.12%, Sands China Limited rose by 5.01%, SenseTime-W rose by 4.58%, China Coal Energy rose by 4.52%, Galaxy Entertainment rose by 4.47%, Yankan Energy rose by 4.21%; Yingen Biotechnology-B fell by 12.53% and Mountain High Holdings plummeted by over 59%; Hongteng Precision Technology rose by 16.08% and Changfei Optical Fiber Cable rose by 12.34%.
