Wu Guogang, a second-level inspector from the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated in his speech that the next step will be to strengthen innovation leadership in lithium battery technology, accelerate the development and industrialization of forward-looking technologies such as solid-state batteries, sodium-ion batteries, all-weather batteries, fast-charging batteries, and key materials, break through active safety warning technologies based on thermal runaway models, develop high-performance flame-retardant battery materials, high-efficiency green fire-fighting materials, and build a multi-dimensional safety technology system. Furthermore, support will be provided to expand international cooperation and guide high-quality industries to go global. Strengthening alignment with resources, strategies, policies, standards, and other relevant countries, guiding lithium battery companies in their global strategies, supporting domestic companies in joint ventures overseas, expanding international markets, actively participating in overseas green and low-carbon energy governance, actively integrating and seeking to lead global actions to address climate change.
