Standard Chartered Bank is collaborating with Franklin Templeton and Ripple to introduce innovative trading and lending services.

On September 18, DBS Bank issued a statement stating that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding with global investment management company Franklin Templeton and blockchain enterprise Ripple to introduce innovative blockchain-based trading and lending services for institutions and qualified investors. DBS Digital Exchange will list Franklin Templeton's tokenized currency market fund sgBENJI, Franklin Templeton's US Dollar Short-Term Currency Market Fund, and Ripple's stablecoin Ripple USD. In the future, DBS Bank also plans to allow customers to use sgBENJI tokens as collateral for borrowing from the bank or third-party platforms, expanding their sources of funds.
