David Kostin, the chief U.S. stock strategist at Goldman Sachs, will retire at the end of the year after working at the investment bank for over thirty years. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 and moved to the Investment Strategy Group in 2004. A memorandum indicates that his position will be taken over by Ben Snider. "I am honored to have held this position," Kostin said in an interview. "The culture at this bank is very fast-paced, and you work with many outstanding individuals. The standards are very high, and the market is constantly changing. But after 40 years as an analyst on Wall Street, now is a good time for me to retire."
