Goldman Sachs Chief US equity strategist David Kostin will retire within the year.
Goldman Sachs Group's chief US equity strategist David Kostin will retire at the end of the year after working at the investment bank for over thirty years. He joined Goldman Sachs in 1994 and later moved to the portfolio strategy team in 2004. A memo indicates that his position will be taken over by Ben Snider. "It is a great honor to hold this position," Kostin said in an interview. "The culture at this bank is very fast-paced, and you work with many outstanding individuals. The standards are very high, and the market is constantly changing. But after 40 years as an analyst on Wall Street, now is a good time for me to retire."
