Canada will invest approximately 159 billion Canadian dollars in infrastructure construction over the next five years.

In response to challenging factors facing Canada, the Parliamentary Budget Office estimates that the Canadian government is expected to spend $159 billion Canadian dollars on infrastructure projects over the next five years. This includes spending on federal assets, as well as transfer payments to other levels of government and Indigenous infrastructure projects.
