According to the Easy Money APP, the number of initial jobless claims in the United States dropped last week, but with both labor demand and supply decreasing, signs of weakness have emerged in the US labor market. Data released by the US Department of Labor on Thursday showed that the number of initial jobless claims in the week ending September 13 fell to 231,000, lower than the previous value of 263,000 and market expectations of 240,000. At the same time, the number of continuing jobless claims in the week ending September 13 in the United States decreased to 1.92 million, lower than the previous value of 1.939 million and market expectations of 1.95 million.
