On September 18, Pang Donglai issued a notice reporting the infringement on the account of Yu Donglai. The notice stated, "Regarding the current behavior on the internet of casually misinterpreting and attacking Pang Donglai and Mr. Yu Donglai based on one's own thoughts and habits, as well as using AI to generate Mr. Yu Donglai's voice and photos for editing and video streaming, causing serious harm to others, damaging trust between people, and harming the civilized, friendly, and harmonious environment of society. We will firmly defend our legitimate rights through legal means!" The notice from Pang Donglai revealed that the infringing accounts made statements such as "Yu Donglai is stupid and ignorant" and defamatory remarks like "He is too arrogant, everyone has praised him too highly in the past two years," as well as users using insulting puns like "Donglai Xibei, Dongxie Xidu, Laibei Wajian." Pang Donglai stated that evidence has been collected and legal letters have been sent to some platforms. Additionally, there were accounts illegally using AI to infringe on the voice rights of Yu Donglai. Pang Donglai stated, "This unauthorized use of AI technology to generate Mr. Yu Donglai's voice for commercial purposes has misled and confused the public, infringed on Mr. Yu Donglai's voice rights, and constitutes unfair competition."
