Pre-market on Thursday, shares of pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk (NVO) rose by 7.4% after announcing the results of its once-daily weight-loss drug late-stage trial. Novo Nordisk stated that the trial results showed that the drug achieved "significant" weight loss effects comparable to the company's injectable weight-loss drug Wegovy.
