2025 China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable Conference on Artificial Intelligence held in Nanning, Guangxi.

On September 18, the 2025 China-ASEAN Ministerial Roundtable on Artificial Intelligence, jointly organized by the National Development and Reform Commission and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, was held in Nanning, Guangxi. The purpose of this roundtable is to establish a Ministerial dialogue and exchange platform for artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN countries, promote deeper practical cooperation in the development and governance of artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN countries, and share the dividends of artificial intelligence development. The roundtable announced the establishment of the China-ASEAN National Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center in Guangxi, focusing on strengthening the foundation of artificial intelligence development, providing open source services, enhancing industrial cooperation, and promoting talent cultivation to carry out specific cooperation and promote the implementation of practical cooperation projects, and facilitate the widespread application of artificial intelligence technology. In addition, the roundtable proposed to launch the "Artificial Intelligence +" initiative between China and ASEAN, and proposed the establishment of a Ministerial cooperation mechanism for artificial intelligence between China and ASEAN, and released a number of important cooperation achievements.
