Standard & Poor's Global and Alibaba Cloud have reached a strategic partnership to provide AI-enabled bulk commodity data for the first time in China.

On September 18, S&P Global announced a strategic partnership with Alibaba Group's technology company Alibaba Cloud, bringing S&P Global's AI-ready commodity data to China for the first time. Starting from August 31, Chinese clients can more directly access a wide range of commodity data in areas such as energy, metals, chemicals, and agriculture through Alibaba Cloud's object storage service. This data can seamlessly integrate with Alibaba Cloud's analytics services and AI engine, including the TongYi Qian Wen large language model.
