Ministry of Commerce: The number of participating companies at the 138th Canton Fair reaches a new record high.

At the routine press conference held this afternoon by the Ministry of Commerce, spokesperson He Yadong stated that the 138th Canton Fair will start on October 15th with a record number of participating enterprises. He Yadong introduced that in order to continue supporting the development of foreign trade enterprises and better cope with external risks and challenges, the 138th Canton Fair will continue to introduce more supportive measures. First, the coverage will be broader. The number of participating enterprises in this session of the Canton Fair has reached a record high, with over 31,000 participating in the export exhibition. All participating enterprises in the export exhibition can enjoy a discount on booth fees, with more than 5,000 enterprises benefiting for the first time. Second, there will be more preferential measures. In addition to a 50% discount on booth fees in offline exhibitions, online platforms have also added complementary discount measures, coordinating both online and offline channels to help export enterprises expand into international markets.
