The China-ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Outlook Report was released yesterday afternoon, explicitly identifying "FTA 3.0, digital economy, green development, and artificial intelligence" as the four major pillars of future cooperation and proposing specific implementation pathways for the next phase. The "China-ASEAN FTA 3.0 version" released in this blue book is an institutional and rules-oriented, high-quality upgrade focused on emerging fields. In contrast to the emphasis on tariff preferences and service investment in versions 1.0 and 2.0, version 3.0 includes new topics such as the digital economy, green economy, supply chain interconnectivity, standards, and qualification assessment procedures in its clauses.
