According to the news from the Inner Mongolia port, on September 17, a joint acceptance group composed of relevant national departments conducted on-site acceptance of the work to expand the opening of the Altay Mountain Road port in Inner Mongolia. After on-site inspection, listening to reports, reviewing documents, and conducting a centralized review, the acceptance group unanimously believed that the Altay Mountain Road port has the basic conditions for expanding opening and meets the relevant national requirements and passed the acceptance. After passing the national acceptance, the opening hours of the Altay Mountain port will be expanded from the original 8 months per year to year-round opening, becoming the 4th international land port in Inner Mongolia to be open year-round. It will provide important support for uninterrupted economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Mongolia and surrounding areas throughout the year, marking a new milestone in the opening up and regional cooperation of the Eastern Region of Mongolia.
