The 12th Beijing Fragrant Hills Forum held a welcome dinner on the evening of the 17th, welcoming both domestic and foreign guests attending the forum. Zhang Youxia, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attended and delivered a speech. The grand military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held not long ago once again demonstrated to the world that the strength of the Chinese military is a contribution to world peace, and once again proclaimed to the world the firm belief in the victory of justice, peace, and the people.
