Alphabet's (GOOGL.US) autonomous driving department Waymo has been granted permission to test at the San Francisco International Airport.

According to Zhichuan Financial APP, Alphabet's (GOOGL.US) self-driving taxi division Waymo has obtained a pilot license for testing at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). The company will first test its self-driving taxis with human drivers, and then proceed to testing in fully autonomous mode, with passengers including Waymo employees and airport staff. After completing these tests, Waymo will begin commercial operations.
