Greenways (002340.SZ) has signed a memorandum of understanding with American ASCEND ELEMENTS to jointly explore battery recycling and material cooperation in Europe.

Smart Finance and Economics APP News, Green Energy (002340.SZ) announced that the company ("GEM") has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with ASCEND ELEMENTS, INC. ("AE"), a lithium battery recycling company based in the United States. The two parties have decided to combine their advantages in terms of geographical relationships, resources, capital, technology, and operational management to build a leading lithium power recycling industry system in Europe. This includes cooperation in establishing a leading lithium power battery recycling system, disassembly and black powder manufacturing system, lithium-nickel-cobalt resource utilization and battery material remanufacturing industry system to serve the development of Europe's new energy lifecycle value chain. They will also actively explore the possibility of cooperation in the United States to promote lithium-ion battery recycling and engineering battery material production, and to promote the implementation of global battery passports and the green development of new energy.
