Quarterly performance disclosure is about to become history? Trump pushes for European-style "semi-annual report" or will land in 2027.

According to the Wise Finance APP, US President Donald Trump is once again pushing for the elimination of quarterly performance disclosure for companies, instead proposing that performance reports be released on a semi-annual basis. This initiative had failed during his first presidential term which began in 2016, but now with the White House largely influencing the policy agenda of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Trump has a high chance of successfully implementing this change within 1-2 years.
