Holness was sworn in as the Prime Minister of Jamaica.

On September 16th, in the capital of Jamaica, Kingston, Governor Allen presented Prime Minister Holness with his appointment letter. The inauguration ceremony of the Prime Minister was held in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, and Andrew Holness began his third term.
