CATL's Zeng Yuqun: The company will increase its patents by 7,000 this year.

The 2025 World Energy Storage Conference will be held in Ningde. At the opening ceremony of the conference, Zeng Yuqun, the chairman of CATL, pointed out that since 2014, CATL has accumulated research and development investment of over 80 billion yuan. By the end of 2024, CATL has a total of 43,000 owned and pending patents, and this year will add around 7,000 more.
