The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Carrie Lam, delivered a new policy address at the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region today. Lam stated that Hong Kong will reshape the layout of performance venues and promote cultural events. With the opening of the Kai Tak Sports Park, the Hong Kong Coliseum will prioritize concerts, the East Kowloon Cultural Centre will focus on long-term performances and art technology, and the Sha Tin Town Hall Concert Hall will be designated as a priority venue for Cantonese opera.
