The president of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Ren Hongbin, met with the principal officials of the ASEAN countries' chambers of commerce and industry.

On September 16, Ren Hongbin, the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, met with Lu Xinning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Autonomous Region in Nanning, Guangxi, together with the leaders of the chambers of commerce from the ten ASEAN countries. Ren Hongbin said that the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade attaches great importance to promoting trade and investment with ASEAN countries, and is willing to cooperate with the chambers of commerce from the ten ASEAN countries to promote high-level dialogues, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, promote regional economic integration, and fully utilize mechanisms such as the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit, China International Supply Chain Expo, and the China-ASEAN Business Council to contribute to the construction of a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future.
