China Mobile releases "NoLimits One" ion trap quantum computing device.

According to People's Posts and Telecommunications News, on September 16, China Mobile officially released a series of achievements such as the "Wuji No. 1" ion trap quantum computing device, and under the guidance of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Management Committee, launched the establishment of the "Quantum Intelligence Integration" innovation alliance to assist Beijing in building a quantum computing innovation highland. The "Wuji No. 1" ion trap quantum computing device supports precise control of 100 qubits, and in key indicators such as single qubit fidelity, two qubit fidelity, initial state preparation and detection error rate, its overall performance reaches the industry-leading level. China Mobile will open up quantum computing devices, computing resources, and algorithm verification environments, and collaborate with partners to jointly break through the technological and application bottlenecks of quantum computing.
