The "Initiative for the Protection of Personal Information of Smart Toys" is guided by the Network Data Management Bureau of the Cyberspace Administration of China. It focuses on safeguarding the information security of minors and promoting the healthy development of the smart toy industry, emphasizing the following eight core principles: 1. Adhere to the bottom line of compliance and shoulder the responsibility of protection; 2. Focus on the principle of necessity, strictly control the scope of personal information collection; 3. Optimize the way information is communicated to ensure informed consent; 4. Strengthen risk assessment and improve protection measures; 5. Respect user choices and provide alternative solutions; 6. Standardize the flow of personal information and strictly control third-party cooperation agencies; 7. Care for special needs and reflect human warmth; 8. Cooperate with regulatory inspections and actively accept supervision.
