Outsourced Ministry of Foreign Affairs: International report certifies Venezuela as a drug-free trafficking area.

On September 16th local time, the Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement strongly rejecting and condemning the United States Department of State's illegal designation of Venezuela as a transit and production country for drugs this year. The statement pointed out that the report, claiming to be the "world judge and police" illicitly, attempted to meddle with false accusations. All accusations lack factual basis and contradict the official data of professional international organizations. According to the official reports continuously released by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, Venezuela has been certified as a region without illegal crop cultivation. Furthermore, there is concrete evidence showing that Venezuela does not have any drug processing organizations or cultivation bases. The report by the US Drug Enforcement Administration for the years 2024 to 2025 similarly shows that Venezuela is neither listed as a drug-producing country, distributor, nor a transit country for drugs. Venezuela does not produce, traffic, or cultivate drugs, and is not a drug distribution center. All reports from professional institutions indicate that Venezuela is not an important player in this field.
