The bank believes that the slowdown in Macau's recent gambling revenue growth is mainly due to a relatively quiet schedule in Macau over the past week. The bank has revised down its forecast for Macau's September gambling revenue from 20 billion Macau patacas to 19.5 billion Macau patacas (about 88% of the same period in 2019; an annual increase of 13%), which means the average daily gambling revenue for the remaining days of this month will be approximately 669 million Macau patacas.
