There are reports that two Xiaopeng Huitian eVTOLs collided and crashed at the Changchun Airshow on the afternoon of September 16th. In response to the above news, Xiaopeng Huitian stated that this afternoon, after the Guangdong Huitian Aviation pre-show at the Changchun Airshow, two aircraft participating in a dual formation exercise had a collision due to insufficient spacing. One aircraft landed normally, while the other aircraft experienced damage to the fuselage and caught fire during landing. Personnel on site and relevant safety departments have completed the on-site disposal work in an orderly manner. The specific reasons are still under further investigation.
