According to Observer Network, on the afternoon of September 16th, two small Xpeng Heitech eVTOLs (Electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft) collided and crashed at the Changchun Air Show. Eyewitnesses at the scene revealed that at least one passenger was injured and has been sent to the hospital for treatment with no life-threatening injuries reported at the moment. Xpeng Heitech responded exclusively to a reporter from First Financial, saying they are currently verifying the information and that the media reports are not official. They will provide detailed information later. An industry expert told the First Financial reporter that based on the video materials, it is currently not possible to confirm if a collision occurred, and the official report is not yet available. The initial speculation is that there may have been a problem with the battery management system.
