On September 16th, JD.com and Guizhou Maotai held a "JD Wine Tasting" event, which was the first wine tasting event in nearly 20 years. At the event, the director of Shouyi Hotel Group, and the secretary of the International Hotel Party Committee and general manager, Lu Bin, said that within just 30 minutes, all the rooms at the Beijing International Hotel were sold out. According to Sina Finance, JD.com prepared 7 Maotai wines for the users present at the event, including Guizhou Maotai 2025, previous years' premium Maotai 2013, Guizhou Maotai 2010, aged Maotai 15 years, aged Maotai 30 years, aged Maotai 50 years, and Maotai with a tin seal from 1992. It is reported that all 7 Maotai wines were available for unlimited tasting for the users present at the event.
